Jewel is a very special puppy from one of our greatest friends and mentor, Chris McLean of one of the world's most prestigious Akita kennels: Melodor Akitas. Her sire is two time Crufts breed winner (2014 & 2015) and Best In Show winner, UKCH Redwitch Will I Am. He is also a grandson of our foundation male, Fraser(MBIS/MBISS GCH Redwitch Adreneline Junkie AOM). Her dam is INT CH Melodor Heart Of Gold, a stunning Group and Best In Show winner across Europe.

We are so hornored and overwhelmed to be trusted with this very special puppy. We are also very happy that Ms. Chirs McLean agrees to be her proud co-owner!

Growing up with her wonderful happy-go-lucky personality, Jewel was debuted at Akita National Specialty 2015 at the age of 7 months. Without any previous show experience, this little starlet showed us her great potential by taking 2nd in a very competitive 6-9 months class.

After taking a couple of Reserve Winners Bitch at her next big show in Albuquerque, she amazed us by taking Best of Breed over multiple specials including our very own Fraser (MBIS/MBISS GCH Redwitch Adreneline Junkie AOM). She amazed us even more by making the final cut with her proud mama, Wenny, in a strong working group lineup the same day!

First time as a special, she was shown in Claremore, OK cluster shows and took BOS (w/ GCH points) against Fraser and BOB one day.

We are looking forward to seeing this stunning girl continuing to mature and blossom.
