Coat care has been always one of our top priorities from day one. After years of hard work proven in the ring, we are extremely proud to announce that Aces-Up kennel is now sponsored by the world's finest animal cosmetics brand from Italy: Iv San Bernard!

We used their hair growth stimulation line earlier this year and the results were nothing but extraordinary. We are looking forward to using the whole suites especially the ring preparation line: Caviar Ring Line, in the near future!

This year we decided to go to Dallas TX instead of Orlando FL wrapping up the awesome 2021.

Out of the 3 days of showing, we did the SWEEPS twice! That is, Best of Breed (Quinn/Tien), Winners Dog (Quinn), Winners Bitch (Rumba), Best of Winners (Quinn), OH BOBs & OH G3 (Tien)!

We are so proud of our kiddos and our breeding program that has begun to shine in the ring facing many tough competitions.

We are honored to introduce the newest addition to our showing and breeding programs, Rumba (Kyodai Only For Braves)!

She is the Best of Breed winner of the prestigious Crufts dog show 2020. Big thank you goes to her breeder for trusting us and thinking so highly of our boys at Aces-Up.

Rumba has settled quickly and begins to enjoy her new family. 

A lovely puppy boy out of Indica and Quinn, Whiskey, started his show career with a bang!

​

At only 8 months of age, puppy Whiskey (Aces-Up Gimme All Your Lovin) was awarded two Winners Dog out of three shows. Not only he quickly adjusted to the busy show site, but also he made progress every single day in the ring. Great job, kiddo!

Tien (BISS GCHB Aces-Up Live and Let Die) was so envious of Storm's Nationals trophies and asked if he could also go out and play.

 

He was entered three days and took Best of Breed everyday plus Owner Handled G1 & G4!

This is the second dog show weekend for Tien this year. Glad he made good progress and showed well!

Fraser has got mail! He becomes the first Akita to receive both UK's Top Stud (2013) and USA's ROM awards. Out of the 10 US champion offsprings after being bred only a few times in the US, he has produced:

- 2 BISS winners (Tien & Luna)

- 1 Top 5 Akita (Tien)

- 1 Top 10 Akita (Cody)

- 1 Top 20 Akita (Dakota)

- 1 Nationals AOM winner (Natsumi)

Four are selected heading to Nationals representing Aces-Up including 3 out of the two most successful outcross litters from the 1st generation, and 1 out of a very special litter from the 2nd generation:

Against some amazing competitions, they brought home two AOMs, Select Dog at National. 1st and 2nd placements for all Quinn's classes. Quinn's 7 month old son won Best Puppy all three shows he was entered!  

Warming up for the upcoming National week, we showed Indica (GCH Aces-Up She Will Take You To A Special Place) at the Rocky Mountain Akita Club specialties in Greeley, CO.

We are very proud of our girl, Indica who's all grown up and showed like a rockstar! This girl has come a long way becoming a true show dog. Well done! Indica took back to back Select Bitch at the specialties against some strong competition and large entry.

We are very proud and honored that two of our favorite house pets, Storm and Tien, received their Top 20 Invitations!

After showing the boys, we brought three beautiful girls to the Logan UT shows.

Natsumi finished her championship by winning BOBs over specials! Her sister, Indica, always owner handled, took BOB one of the days, all the Owner Handled BOBs and OH G1!

​

Our precious Raja & Prada daughter, Saffron, only the second weekend out, took Winners Bitch owner handled!

It must be good luck to have such a lovely stud puppy back for the Coretta (CH London's Coretta Scott King) and Quinn litter. We are very impressed with what Quinn has done in the first two litters this year, one linebreeding and one outcross.  

​

Coretta was a group placing and Top 20 Akita in 2019 (all breed sys). We are glad to see many outstanding traits of both parents have pulled through for this litter.

This year's first shows we sent Tien and Quinn with Michael, and Natsumi with her awesome owners. All handled by team Black N Gold.

​

Out of 5 days, Tien took 3 Best of Breed and 2 Select Dog, made the cut in the group every time he stepped in it. Quinn was awarded 4 Winners Dogs and 3 Best of Winners even though he's got little hair and going through another growth burst. Natsumi also out of coat took 4 straight Winners Bitch, undefeated through classes and 1 Best of Opposite over a bitch special. She was pulled on the last day because she's pointed out.

It is always exciting to welcome the newest Aces-Up kids in town! This time we are proud to say there are a few stunners out of the Indica & Quinn litter.

This litter is very consistent especially in headpiece, balance, topline and angulations. We are also very pleased that a couple of improvements we hoped for this combination are seen among most of the pups.

The precious 4 boys and 1 girl were all born strong and healthy. Can't wait to see them growing up!

Turning 19 months old, Quinn (Aces-Up You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet) only went to one dog show that was the AKC National Championship week, Orlando FL. He swept floor by taking multiple Winners Dog, and Best of Winners.

With his excellent quality and outstanding pedigree, we have no doubt this young boy is going far as a show dog as well as a stud.
